F.A.Q.
What exactly is a vehicle wrap?
A vehicle wrap or fleet graphics is the process of designing,
printing
and installing vinyl graphics to the surface of a vehicle
thus creating
a mobile advertisement.
How much will my vehicle wrap cost?
A typical professional full wrap costs between $2,000 and $4,000.
There are varying degrees of partial wraps anywhere from cut vinyl
and logos for around $300, to a ¾ wrap for about $2,000. However,
there are many factors in creating a quality wrap, so be sure to get
a detailed proposal when shopping around. If someone throws out
a
number at you without first discussing your needs and designs,
be
careful – you really do get what you pay for. Saving a little up
front
can get you in big trouble down the road, so be sure to
compare all
your options.
How long will my vehicle wrap last?
A vehicle wrap that has been installed by a professional, 3M
certified
company should last in the 3-5 year range. Many factors
play a roll
in how long vinyl vehicle graphics will last including,
weather, quality
of material and expertise of the installer. Be sure
to read the
manufacturers warranty on the longevity of the materials
and the
surfaces they are installed on.
Do I need to design my own vehicle wrap?
No, at KDF we have a team of in house professional graphic designers
that will be more then happy to assist you in the design of your
vehicle
graphics. Our team will guide you through every step of the
process,
providing you with free proofs, and always taking your
feedback into
consideration. Ultimately our goal is for you to be
100% satisfied with
your custom vehicle graphics, so we consistently
keep you updated
throughout the design process. If you already have
a design that you
would like to use KDF will happily print and
install your vehicle wrap
design for you.
How long will it take to wrap my vehicle?
The amount of time it takes to wrap a vehicle can vary depending
on the size and shape of the vehicle. Normally a vehicle wrap will
be
completed within 2-3 days and will be ready for your use with
no
restrictions immediately after the vehicle wrap installation is
completed. Usually we prep the vehicle on day one, cleaning off
any
tar and grime then the vehicle acclimates in our shop overnight.
On
day two we install the graphics. There are some instances
where a
third day is needed.
Will a Vehicle Wrap Damage My Paint?
No, in most cases a vehicle wrap will not damage your paint. If your
paint is old it may peel upon removal of the vehicle wrap material.
In
fact, if applied correctly a vehicle wrap will actually protect
your paint!
Can I still Wash My Vehicle?
Yes, you can still wash your wrapped vehicle, but in order to
protect
your vinyl vehicle wrap you should hand wash the vehicle and
avoid
power washing and ice scrapers.

In today's competitive market, advantages are tough to come
by. I'd
strongly recommend vehicle wraps installed by KDF as
a means to
stand apart from competitors. For the cost of one
month's rental on
a stationary billboard, we'll have a mobile
advertising message and
impact graphics that'll travel with us
for 60-72 months. A vehicle
wrap is by far the best advertising
value out there.

Working with KDF on the design of our vehicle wrap was
fun!
I was
able to get exactly what I had pictured in my
head on the
vehicle. I
believe this is the best way to
advertise. The fit to the
vehicle is
outstanding. I believe
it's money well spent.

I was very impressed on KDF's professionalism with customer
service
and artwork. The total experience from talking to their
sales reps,
following up with my company via email, the quality
of the art work,
the package explaining all the warranties on the product, right down
to the thank you follow up we received after
the job was completed.
Great job KDF!
